Thank you Amazon for making it possible for us to have it state side. This transformer ROCKS!!!! Don't let the color sway you from getting it, the only thing to get used to is the orange tip of the guns. But this is understandable as it is done for safety measures. The robot is really nice and is the newest, updated iteration of this mold. It has the abdomen area redesigned, as well as its transforming gun (from gas tanks). Like people have mentioned, this was only found in Asia with different jet pack colors and more expensive.
I highly recommend it, this is one of the best versions of Optimus Prime from the movie series!!!!

Forget that "Ultimate Optimus"Dec 05, 2012

This is what they should have originally released for DSOTM. It seems to be a hybrid of the ROTF Optimus, with the Jetfire jet pack and Ultimate/butterfly wings. This version seems to be better than all three! The main figure seems to be a slight remodel of the ROTF figure, with different abs and forearms. *The abs look the the Ultimate Optimus'.
Definitely glad that I made the purchase!

Update: I just saw that Amazon dropped the price from $105 to $61. It's a little annoying that Amazon doesn't have a price match, so I am returning the original to get a credit, and purchasing another at the reduced price...not sure why Amazon doesn't just have a price match when they reduce the price like this in a short period of time...it would have saved me some trouble.

I was lucky to get this when the price was $52, this is definitely a good buy for the money, hopefully price will drop again.
if that happen get it because is a very impressive figure.

I bought this as a gift for a friend, who is an adult, and a nerd. He loves it. I gave it a 3 for durability as it is so intricate, with so many tiny moving parts, I would be afraid to let a child actually play with, and I think it would be disasterous if it fell off a shelf or something. I also rated it a 3 on educational value because let's face it...it's a giant robot with big guns and jet wings. Not the most educational thing in the world, but the complexity of the transformation definately requires some patients and that certain level of ability to take things appart and put them back together again. It is large, and impressive, and I actually really like the color scheme. The blue and white stripes down the wings are reminiscent of earlier concepts, and the extra color on the guns and wings helps break up the flat gray plastic to add a little more dimmension to him.

The REAL "ultimate" Optimus PrimeJan 19, 2013

I was really let down Hasbro never released a DotM leader OP (as well as a leader Shockwave, Megatron, deluxe Leadfoot, et al), so I was pretty ecstatic when it was announced Jetwing Prime would be released through Amazon. If you're already familiar with the RotF leader OP mold, then you know that it's one of the greatest TF molds ever created. Screen accuracy, engineering, and articulation make this a real work of art. I already have two RotF molds, but wanted this Prime for my DotM shelf. Even if I'd paid the full price for it, it would be worth every penny, but I got it for a steal at just over $50 thanks to a brief pre-Christmas sale Amazon held. Thank you, Amazon! This figure looks amazing in my collection going up against Sentinel Prime (. He really just dominates it. His wings are huge and incredibly poseable. I really don't mind the paint apps. I really think it looks better with the paint apps than as just a big solid chunk of gray. Others have pointed out the jetwing backpack design isn't movie accurate, and that's true, but it was based on preproduction art (as seen in the DotM blu-ray 3D bonuns features) and is far superior to the horrid "Ultimate" Optimus Prime release. His reworked abs look perfect, too. Snag this while you can and, if you REALLY want to make this Prime special, order the upgrade sticker set from Reprolabels.
