Great for travelFeb 26, 2013
By Wanda A. I am a believer in Neutrogena. I use these towelettes and their face scrub- two of my favorite face cleaning products on the market. These are quick and convenient- very handy to take with you on vacation, especially if you're flying! I can use them with ease even on my thick, heavy mascara! Comes off like a charm. If you use it too much and have dry skin, you will be a little irritated though. It does contain some drying agents so be aware and prepared for that.
If you have that problem, toner is a great way to combat it. Not alcohol based toner though!! That will dry you out worse. I've found my best results to be with a scented rose petal toner that contains aloe vera -Witch Hazel Rose Petal Toner with Aloe Vera + FREE Retinol Cream. Aloe vera = moisture = no dry skin. Plus it not only does using toner help with removing make up, it actually clears beneath the surface too!!

They simply work.Nov 30, 2007
By The Mighty Xtingu I travel for a living, and schlepping my skin-care products through TSA security lines can be a hassle. Enter the Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Towelettes!
In a nutshell: These things simply work. They're pre-moistened so you don't need water, and they take off your makeup in one shot-- waterproof mascara and eternal-wear lipstick, too. No scrubbing, no irritation; only happy, soft skin.
Best of all: These contain moisturizers so your skin isn't all tight, but they don't leave your skin feeling like an Exxon Valdez victim either.
This specific product is the refill pack, which would (hypothetically) be placed into a plastic blue vanity box in your bathroom... though, for my purposes, tossing this resealable pack into my suitcase is just fine.

Gets everything offFeb 16, 2007

I haven't tried many make-up removers before, I usually just go with soap and water. These weren't too bad. They removed all my make-up, including mascara and eyeliner. I didn't get that raccoon look that you usually get when you try to remove mascara, which was great.
The packs are resealable which is nice, it keeps the towelettes moist. The thing I didn't like about them was as another reviewer remarked, they do leave a slight film on your face. An almost greasy feeling. Also, if I got any of it in my eyes, they would slightly burn.
I always did a thorough rinse with water after using them, which took the residue off, but the fact that it left the residue (and slightly irritated my eyes), is what made me give this product 3 stars.
Dried outMay 20, 2013
By J. Robitaille I needed a pack at work and one in my room for those days I just need a pick me up cleanse and for the nights I need to take off my make up without getting up and going to the sink (yep mega lazy)
The product itself is nice enough but they arrived really dried out. Disappointed. Probably won't buy them in bulk again - could just be product design? Some companies use hard plastic doors instead of the sticker...not sure if that's part of the problem. Oh well!
Very effectiveMay 20, 2013
By Cathi Pierson I've never tried these before but they worked really well. My mascara came off easily without rubbing my eyes and pulling out my lashes. I will definitely get these again.
